Shannon Bowdey is the CEO and Founder of SLO Happy Homes, a vibrant real estate team proudly serving all of San Luis Obispo County and Northern Santa Barbara County. Her journey in real estate began at just 23 years old in Louisiana, inspired by her parents’ passion for property and people. From an early age, Shannon knew real estate wasn’t just a career choice, it was her calling.

Today, Shannon leads with heart, hustle, and a signature splash of red. Known throughout the community as the “Lady in Red,” she and her team embrace a brand rooted in happiness, cultural richness, and the highest ethical standards. Red is more than a color for SLO Happy Homes, it represents passion, confidence, and an unwavering commitment to their clients.

In 2019, Shannon was honored as a Keller Williams Cultural Ambassador for the region and named Realtor of the Year by the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors, recognizing both her professional excellence and her dedication to community.
Service comes naturally to Shannon. She is a Past President of the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors and Past President of the Rotary Club of Pismo Beach Five Cities and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the South County Chamber of Commerce. Whether she’s advocating for homeowners, mentoring agents, or supporting local causes, Shannon believes leadership is best expressed through service.

At home, Shannon and her husband Brad enjoy life on their micro-farm, Casa De Bowdey, where Shannon’s mother lives in the guest house and their days are shared with three dogs, two cats, and 2.5 acres of gardens. Together they treasure travel adventures, fine wines, memorable meals, and soaking up life to its fullest. Their greatest joy comes from family, including five children and five grandchildren who keep their hearts (and calendars) happily full.
